Tri Grip Rubber Olympic Plates
£5.46 – £109.20The Tri Grip Rubber Olympic Plates have a cast iron inner core with a black rubber coating. This makes the plates durable for any exercise you wish to use them in.
The Tri Grip Rubber Olympic Plates has a triple handle design which allows for improved grip and greater handling. This design also allows for a variety of other exercises. The integrated separators create a gap which allows easy access to grip the plates when putting on, or taking off, the bar.
Due to the varying diameters of these plates, they should not be used in exercises in which the bar, and/or weight plates are dropped, or lowered to the floor in a less than controlled manner. For exercises like these we recommend Bumper Weight Plates as they have the same diameter, and therefore will disperse the force of impact evenly, reducing the risk of damaging.

UKSF Speckled Pegasus Bumper Plates are made from a vulcanized rubber. This makes them far more absorbent than standard virgin bumper plates. Vulcanization creates far greater elasticity properties than standard virgin rubber. Under stress and impact, standard virgin plates will deform. Vulcanized rubber will revert back to its original form, whereas standard rubber will not! This is what forms cracks with standard bumper plates.
