The WaterRower Oxbridge Rowing Machine with S4 Computer is handcrafted from solid Cherry wood. Like all woods, Cherry wood may vary in colour from a red-brown to deep red. The wood will grow richer in colour with time and exposure to light. Each machine has been hand finished with three coats of Danish Oil giving a deep lustre an warmth to the wood.
Wood has been chosen due to its marvellous engineering properties, primary amongst these is its ability to absorb sound and vibration enhancing the WaterRower’s quietness and smoothness of use. Cherry wood, like all woods used in WaterRower construction, is a premium hardwood with incredible longevity and dimensional stability. For reasons of ecology, all our woods are harvested from sustainably managed forests where growth exceeds removal by 229%.

The WaterRower A1 Studio Rowing Machine is specifically designed to be lightweight, portable, space saving and vertically storable. In fact, 3 x A1 indoor rowing machines can be stored vertically in the same amount space as one indoor bike! The patented Water Based Resistance System has been designed to emulate the exact dynamics of a boat moving across the water, and creates a wave-like sound that is engaging, mesmerising and feels like the real thing!

The WaterRower Club has been designed for High Traffic Areas such as Commercial Gyms, Studios, Rehabilitation Clinics, etc. Its Black Rails have been styled to prevent scuffing, other wooden components are finished in an attractive rosewood which is more resistant to soiling than the Natural model.
