The York Barbell 7′ International Chrome Olympic Bar has been born from York’s vast knowledge of bar design and production. It is perhaps the highest quality, most functional and attractive economy Olympic bar of today. Each bar is manufactured in our own factory from North American made steel.
The bar is less flexible, more rigid making it an excellent choice when performing static, highly controlled, slow movements such as chest press, deadlift and squats. The weight bar also performs well for Olympic Training. With a minimum tensile strength of 170,000 psi and a max weight limit of 2000 lbs (317.5 KG). Sleeves are machined to a precise 1.975″ diameter to accommodate 2″ Olympic plates, with the sleeves secured on the bar using a bar end nut and spring pin.

Constructed from solid steel these one piece barbells ensures durability and functionality. The bars have a 2.5 mm thicker diameter which can help improved grip and forearm strength.
The thicker beefy bar grips nicely in the hands as it closer to Olympic bar diameter with the bar ends manufactured to accommodate 1” Standard weight plates. The wider inner sleeves accommodate a more comfortable squat workout and will fit home Olympic benches and racks.
